"Maintain Continues Supply by Eliminating Quality Issue”
On Friday, June 17, 2011, PT. PATLITE Indonesia (PLID) held back the annual event, IQC Convention in 2011. This time, the event was held at Harmoni One Hotel, in Tokyo Room 3rd Floor. Event began with registration of participant. Then, all participants sit in to place that had prepared. This event invites 20 suppliers; they are consisting of local and non local Suppliers.
IQC Convention 2011 have theme: "Maintain Continues Supply by Eliminating Quality Issue." This event feels great because beside in attended by Top Management of PATLITE Corporation and also attended by all regions of PATLITE Global Sales/ Marketing Overseas. Among are Mr Fumio Sawamura, Mr Atsushi Kuwahara, Mr Takanori Kawajiri, Mr Kuniya Fujimoto, Mr Makoto Oda, and Mr Mikio Arasuna from PATLITE Corporation Head Office (PLJP), Mr Trayton Jay from PATLITE U.S.A Corporation (PLUS), Mr Udo Will from PATLITE Europe GmbH (PLEU), Mr B.S Lee from PATLITE KOREA CO LTD (PLKR), Mr Gu Jixin from PATLITE CHINA Corporation (PLCN), and Mr Nobuyuki Onishi, Mr Ting Soon Ming from PATLITE SINGAPORE PTE LTD (PLSG).
The event was opened by presentation from Mr Fumio Sawamura as CEO and President PATLITE Corporation to explain the overall condition of PATLITE Corporation, sales results, target and the next Corporate Plan, also business plan that will be developed in PT. Patlite Indonesia. Then are followed the presentation of each of Global Sales / Marketing Overseas region from PLJP, PLUS, PLEU, PLCN, PLKR, and PLSG. They show the trend of sales and market share of PATLITE products in each regional. Then the convention breaks for a moment, during session breaks and lunch.
Second session, began is presented by Mr Leonard to explain the performance of suppliers and IQC Rank FY period 2010/2011. Which of total 81 suppliers for PT. PATLITE Indonesia there are 20 suppliers in IQC3 (down 23 suppliers from the previous semester), for IQC2 there are 12 suppliers (down 13 suppliers), and there are 49 suppliers in IQC1 (increasing 45 suppliers). Then continued presentation by Mr Elan Ramadanus to explain the importance of Supply Chain Management and the model applied in accordance with the conditions in PT. Patlite Indonesia, also future plan to prepare increasing orders.
In accordance with the theme, to preparing self of challenge the increasing orders and customer, we ask PLID suppliers give the best effort to continuity supply chain process in which the order remains unfulfilled and synergy with good Quality and on time delivery.
Also in this convention, we invite our suppliers PT. Venturindo Jaya Batam and PT. Hymold Batam to present improvement kaizen that related with quality Issued of PLID. In addition, we also provide rewards and appreciation to our suppliers with related contribution to PLID in period 2010/ 2011. As for the category of Best Quality Supplier was awarded to Tsujimoto (M) Corporation Sdn Bhd and "Quality Responsive Supplier" category was awarded to PT. Venturindo Jaya Batam. We expect with these rewards then the Supplier may provide the best in terms of quality and delivery for PT. Patlite Indonesia.
